I believe the old saying ‘You can’t teach an old dog new dog tricks’ was made up by a lazy old dog in an attempt to convince his human to not bother!
Maybe it was made up by the lazy dog’s human to excuse himself from trying! I am a little over seven in dog years. I learn new tricks every day. Right now I am learning how to create podcasts and blogs so that I can help more old dogs!
How about you? Are you done learning? Dogs learn through experience regardless of their age. The more you learn and are willing to teach your dog the easier it is for the old dog to learn new tricks.
