Teaching your dog tricks can be one of the most fun and rewarding experiences of having a dog. However, you need to have a certain amount of training done with your dog so that he understands how to listen and work!
So the best place to start is working on basic commands like sit.
After your dog understands sit, then you can move onto more fun things like Shake Hands.
With your dog sitting simply hold a treat over your dogs head and slowy move it towards his tail, waiting for him to life a paw off the ground.
When he lifts it, grab it and say 'Shake' and give him the treat.
It takes time and patience to teach your dog tricks, so practice and most important have fun!
